Happy Dumpling Festival!

Hi folks! Today is the Chinese Dumpling Festival or Dragon Boat Festival, a festival which celebrates and commemorate a loyal hero..this dumpling comes from the people who dumped rice wrapped in leaves to prevent the body of the hero eaten up by the sea creatures..it's also a gathering for families..noticed many friends took half day off to reunite with their family at their hometown. How about you? Have you taken your dumpling? I just had mine..given by my babysitter..yummy...

Wholesome Lunch Pack- Salad,Multigrain and nuts rice and soup

Hi folks!
I made this for lunch one day, cooking the rice on top of black bean soup. Next, scoop up the soup and cook the remaining black beans and nuts together with the multigrain rice(using all ingredients, no single bits of wastage). Together with a simple salad made out lettuce and cherry tomatoes with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressings...yum..this make a spectacular, flavourful wholesome meal...salad+soup+rice...yummy..

It also makes me thinking lately, in our rush hour daily, we really ought to catch our breath and not to be too overwhelmed by the list of things to do for the day more than the task at hand. And this includes driving...I mentioned this because these few days I felt I am not concentrating enough while driving...Am trying to learn to be more focus....

Stay safe mommies...a blunder or an oversight might caused regrets for life..

I pray this mommy will recover soon...from grief...my condolence to her and family...
